For children under the age of 18, it is recommended that a parent, guardian, or teacher assists and supervises in the search and download of books from Bookshare Ireland. Parents can use their email address for registering their child to Bookshare Ireland. However, the Bookshare Ireland account has to be in the qualifying child’s name.
With educational texts from both international and Irish publishers, Bookshare Ireland supports students through school to third level education and beyond. Proof of reading difficulty is requested from each applicant and before an account is activated.
