Bookshare Ireland is available to students with print disabilities, including visual impairment, Dyslexia, or a physical disability that limits a person from being able to read standard text.
Unfortunately, the following do not automatically qualify a person to receive Bookshare on this criteria alone, under the Copyright laws and Agreements:
- autism
- intellectual disabilities
- attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- hearing loss
- dysgraphia
- dyscalculia
- English as a second language
However, it is possible that a person with one or more of these disabilities could still qualify for Bookshare Ireland because of an accompanying print disability.
